Guestbook Start a pilot

For hotels, villas & guesthouses

Your website.
Your reviews.
Your control.

Collect guest feedback privately. Publish only the reviews you choose. Display them beautifully on your own site — with one line of code and none of the cost or complexity of reputation-management software.

No one prints a beautiful villa brochure and puts customer gripes on the back page. Your website is that brochure.

How it works

Three steps, and then it is out of your way.

  1. 01

    Send guests a link

One link per property, or a QR code on the welcome card. Guests write a few lines from their phone before they have even unpacked.

  2. 02

    Read them privately

Everything lands unpublished in your inbox. Nothing reaches your website on its own — no timer, no auto-publish, no exceptions.

  3. 03

    Publish the ones you want

Approve, feature, reorder, hide. One line of JavaScript on your site renders the selection, styled to match your pages.

The inbox

Nothing publishes itself.

Every review arrives unpublished and stays that way until you say otherwise. You read it, you decide, and the decision is reversible — hide a published review and it disappears from your site on the next page load.

You cannot control Google or TripAdvisor, and Guestbook does not pretend to. It governs one surface: the pages you own, where a direct booking is actually won.

On your website

This is what your visitors see.

Labelled honestly as a selection, styled to sit inside your own design, and rendered from static JSON so it costs your page almost nothing.

Marta met us at the gate with cold almond milk and a hand-drawn map of the village. That is the whole review, really.

Third year running. The kitchen is better stocked than ours at home and the sea is four minutes downhill.

Deliberately absent

Everything we did not build.

Reputation platforms are expensive because they do forty things. Most managers needed one of them. Guestbook is a tiny CMS with a single content type, and it intends to stay that way.

  • Sentiment analysis
  • AI-written replies
  • OTA monitoring
  • Competitor benchmarking
  • Dispute workflows
  • Dashboards you never open

Ten minutes to set up. £9 a month.

Pilot it on one property. If your guests do not write anything worth publishing, you have lost a tenner and an afternoon.
